I get this message on my phone or iPad when trying to sync my fit bit , any suggestions what I can do to solve this ?

A warm welcome to the Community @Lornzchin! I appreciate that you've mentioned the error message that you're getting. I would like you to make sure that you have a supported device and that you have the requirements mentioned on this article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?.

Hello @Djohns88, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for letting us know you're also experiencing this issue. At this moment I would like to suggest you the following steps:
- Toggle Bluetooth Off/On
- Toggle Wi-Fi Off/On
- Try to sync your device once again.
If this doesn't work, try the following:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
- When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
- When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

Hello I have a new Charge 3 which has to be sync. I get the message that I have to update first and then the process stops with the above error. I did what is said in previous messages. Nothing works. What else can I do.
