I didn't realize that I could change my activity level in my Fitbit account online.

When I started several weeks ago, apparently my activity level was defaulted at sedentary.
I'm much more active and so I reset the activity level so that the fit bit tracker applies the amount of calories I have each day according to my activity level.

I only just found out about this feature through a help search. It's not available in the app. One has to go online to enable this feature. It should be part of any 0S, including the IOS, Android etc.

Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.
