I've bloody had it with fitbit. First the HR doesn't display live anymore. Which is great if you use the fitbit for the ocasional run. The update that complete changed the layout of the app for me did it though.
I'd think that it's mostly women that use fitbits. Women have on average smaller hands and might be tempted to buy a phone with a smaller screen. Now I see a tiny bit of information on the app dashboard and have to scroll for everything. Or see nothing at all with those annoying notifications that I have to click away. Let me guess: the developers are men who use huge phones, right?
Thus: how do I get the old dashboard back? How do I switch off those useless notes? how do I get live HR data again in-app? If this is not possible then fitbit should really think about who their customers are. My Charge 2 is getting old. If nothing changes with regards to usability then it's time to switch platform.

@RicardoFitbit I believe you provided the wrong link!
@Liliacea was looking for information regarding the app and you sent information about the tracker (hardware vs software). I think you might have meant to include this link: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025
The issue i find with the link is that it doesn't let you know there was a new dashboard being introduced. It appears that the new dashboard was worked in as a bug fix or stability improvement rather than being disclosed to users. It's a little misleading
Although to properly address the concern maybe this link should have been provided: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Bring-Back-the-Old-Dashboard/idi-p/3707094 It was a feature request referencing other requests too bring back the old dashboard! Which was closed as fitbit has the status as "not currently planned".

Yeah, there's no point complaining to fitbit. One only gets canned answers while the products get worse and worse (here the app). Really only leaves looking at other products in the future.
