I hate the new Fitbit iPhone app! My fiancé had the same problem where his app switched to the new one (that everyone on here somplains about...it’s boring and isn’t motivating)! As soon as his app switched back to the old version, mine switched over to the new one. Super odd and hating it! I want my old app back.

I think you got enough fitbit users telling you that this new dashboard sucks. Sorry, this is the most boring, unmotivating look ever. Change it back !!!!

It’s archaic having to scroll through a list and I agree. Muted tones are so uninspiring or maybe they want us all to get Garmin

You’ll be forced to. They just forced me today and I am stark raving mad

I am beyond pissed at being forced to downgrade the app. I loathe the new design and have been putting up with my charge 3 screen malfunctioning twice in six months, but this is too much. It's not even enjoyable to use anymore. I have purchased 4 fitbits for myself and various family members through the years but I'll be shopping for a garmin or apple watch going forward, the app is that bad. And yes, I have already voted on the suggestion mentioned.

I agree with everyone on this topic. The new dashboard is uninspiring and bland. It is harder to review my data, due to the small font, muted colors and listed categories. The grid information and bright colors made it easy to quick glance at the data that was relevant to me. If there are benefits to the new look, I don’t really understand what they are. Maybe you should have a preference option on how you want your dashboard to look? Like how gmail has options for how you view your mailbox. Please revert to the old look, or at least make a few minor changes to the old dashboard before making this big of a transition.

I’m so incredibly disappointed with the new app interface. It’s bland, generic, clinical, boring and un-motivating. I loved the vibrant colors and graphic display on the old dashboard whenever I met my goals. Tonight after my workout, I checked my app and it had switched unknowingly. Then when I met my goal, it was so anticlimactic. BORING. I hate this new dashboard and I’m very annoyed that it was changed to something that is not fun! Please change it back or at least make it more exciting. .

I hate the new dashboard. Have trouble finding sleep, other areas I liked. I’m taking it off and buying a different brand

I really detest the new dashboard. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I don’t even understand it. Awful.

I absolutely hate it. Why did you make something great into something really boring and uninspiring?
It completely ruined my experience with Fitbit.
with this interface I will definitely look for different fitness or smart watch in the future.

The best solution would be to allow an option of using the old design
After some time you can clearly see what your customers prefer

MarcoGFitb,
In order to make sure developers see the suggestions and issues, wouldn’t it be more efficient to contact them directly at Twitter https://twitter.com/FitbitDev or through their website? https://dev.fitbit.com. I’m just asking.
Thank you!

Twitter Fitbit support is unresponsive. I’m sure if and when they do respond it will be with apologies for the delay.
anyone here know how I can revert back to the old dashboard?
Thanks

I agree the new app doesn’t allow me to see certain friends when I’m adding them to challenges. It limits me to less then 10 active challenges. I’m unable to sneak peak and leave friends a message that I’m full. My daughter lost all of her friends and cannot add them back for some reason a week after she updated. I really liked the way it was I managed to avoid the update til last week when I was forced to take the update. I simply opened the app and it was downloaded already.I'm not sure why they fixed it I didn’t think it was broken. Very frustrating

Agreed. The new dashboard is terrible... Its ugly, bland, boring... It looks like the dashboard from a gen 1 product, it's just awful. I'm all in for change/improvement, but this new dashboard is a step in the wrong direction. Please revert back or upgrade to something better! I rarely ever open the app anymore, because I hate looking at it.

This is my first post! I’ve been using my Fitbit over 2 years it was my saviour when I packed up smoking! Why change the set up in the App? The display & function of it is now awful! I’m so disappointed with this update Fitbit! To the point you may now have lost me to Apple Watch! Big mistake that change was! Extremely disappointed as I loved my daily checks on it, you used to be able to see all data in one click now it’s just like the Apple App! Why fix what’s not broken? 😥
