I would like to add my voice over the dislike of the new app format. I like to quickly compare my steps day to day- week to week.
Please go back to the old format. Much easier and faster to navigate.

Frankly, you do not appreciate her time. Google should give more options not less. The old format was much easier to view the history of your steps going back to the original purchase.
Looks like I will be switching to an apple Watch to track my steps.
PS: Why the hell did you take out the stairs climbing tracking?

Thought i was the only one, the new app update design is horrible, while i like you can change what you want to see on top that, the food one is never right, the old one would tell me if i'm over, under or good, this is always under. i assume its for the entire day not in real time. Just looks so blank and clinical now.

Hi @Ridgevalley1 @Jalde @vixx24 @mjagusta -probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.
Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. Switching brands for a watch also with good battery Ife is a more instant resolution.

So glad to see I'm not alone. I hate the new app so much, it has pretty much solidified my decision to switch to an Apple watch when my Fitbit dies. Really sad about losing all of my data since I have been a Fitbit user for YEARS.

Fully agree with you. After upgrading to new App, my SENSE2 device is not sync with my Android phone ( Samsung Galaxy S10). New dashboard is not easy to understand, the ZONE MINUTES are not recorded properly. I think many users are silent to express their views because they are leaving Fitbit.

Totally agree with you. A big group of people at the LA Fitness I go to decided that it's time to research another companies fitness tracker because we just don't have the confidence in Google/Fitbit to fix the app back the way it was.

I agree 100%. The new app design is terrible and taking the product many steps backwards. I have been using Fitbit since 2014 and the app is the main reason. With the new app update, the running time is rounded to the minute, no seconds. How a running tracker rounds to minutes. Seconds matter in a run. This does not make any sense. The visuals and ease of comparing runs are gone. With the new app, we have to go through multiple screens to look at each run individually. This is not helpful. I could go on and on on this. Google screwed up a good product. Bring back the old app. Thanks

I agree. Used to regularly review and compare totals which have all been reduced in their highlight or removed all together. Came here today to make a decision to drop the use of Fitbit, and was hoping for a company statement given the community rejection of this latest app update. Doesn’t look good as I see nothing. Being in the tech industry, I find that this app UI so badly missing user expectations and usage is very strange…as in ‘bad’.

If anyone at Fitbit was listening, there would be a way to set it to the older version. It took WEEKS to add the battery display. Looking beyond one's opinion about the appearance, there are numerous calls that this be made more accessible, especially with regard to the colour scheme. How can that be ignored? It's irresponsible.

I have been using fitbit for years. I HATE the new app. The info I now can get is the same I can get from my iphone fitness app so long as I have my phone on me. I liked seeing the % fat burn versus cardio in the old format. I called and no one can seem to help except to say they are working on it. Seriously, too close to Christmas and Santa bringing me something else.

I see your reply regarding "no pans to change it or revert it to the old one". This new one gives much less than the old. There are too many people unhappy to not do something. It is not that we are not familiar or want to get familiar with the new - - - it is not acceptable as it is.

Sorry, not really a useful answer. The new app format sucks. I used to check it religiously. Now? I barely look at it. What's the point? It's not giving me the info I want. The old format was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. I might as well dump the Sense & go back to wearing a regular watch.

Hi Marre. Appreciate you taking the time to reply to the above and provide feedback.
I have been with Fitbit for 10 years and never once felt compelled to write feedback or jump on this forum (which I only found out about today).
I am not trying to be negative but I have loved the Fitbit device and app but after reading your above reply I will be purchasing myself a different device. I use the Fitbit app to track my workouts, heart rate, intensity everyday. The new update has taken away that feature which I am sure most would agree is the number on reason customers would purchase a “Fit”bit. To track their “Fitness.
After finding out that “there are no plans to change or revert to the old app”, I have decided to end my time on Fitbit. So disappointing to hear this.
Apologies for the negative nature of my feedback but was hoping to be heard. Obviously not. Thanks anyway.

Thanks Paul. Appreciate that.
Amazing how one bad decision will completely blow up their market share. How someone in their team came to the decision to take heart rate reports out of a fitness app on a brand call Fitbit astounds me.

Totally agree, seconds matter for runners. Any fitness person would know this. Does the management team reviewing App updates not include a single person that knows anything about fitness and running?

Totally agree! Trying to beat the previous week's step total was a major motivator for me that is now gone!! I wish I switched brands when I replaced my versa this summer...didn't think I loved the old app until it was gone.
