I have done all the resets and troubleshooting with Fitbit but what bothers me the most is that on the banner it states a problem on 10/9 with IOS 13, but Fitbit has not addressed all the problems users are having the Ionic and other devices. Are they working on a fix? Should we be patient?
Fitbit is deleting comments and boards that they apparently don't want out there but for us users it would be nice to know IF something is being done. I know my issues started with IOS13 and the update to my Ionic and have read others comments regarding the same. I don't believe that ALL of these watches just seemed to all break at the same time and that the solution is just to buy a new one at 25% off.
Just wanted to vent my frustrations.

Hello and welcome @BKSHockeyMama
Im sorry that your frustrated with the notifications issues that have recently occurred in reference to the iOS issue update. I wish I had an answer for everyone that comes to this community asking about updates, tips and other current updates about the status of the notifications issue and when this fix will be forthcoming. I will become aware of the fix of notifications the second you become aware of it as well. I’m waiting for notifications to be resolved as well. I’m understanding that some individuals have indeed been able to get their notifications working again but are displeased with the previews showing. I’ve also seen where others are completely with notifications and experiencing no issues. I have no idea why this occurs. My guess would be that maybe different devices (iOS/Android) have different internal settings. It’s hard to tell but I’m sure my guess is most likely just as good as yours. To answer your question if they are truly working on a fix.... I can assure you that they are. I’m sure they are not wanting to upset their customers.
Now you also mentioned that “Fitbit is deleting comments that they apparently don’t want out there”. That would certainly not be in the spirit of the Fitbit Community but with that said if any comment is in violation of the community guidelines I’m sure they will be contacted.
You went on to say that Fitbit is not addressing all the problems users are having with their Ionic and other devices. I’m here to help the best I can so if you have particular issue with your device or Fitbit Tracker I’d like to try and help. But again if it has to do with notifications I know just as much as you do.
So I do understand your frustration but I hope this helps answer some of your questions. Again if you have any particular issues with your tracker please do post your issue here on the Fitbit Community and someone will help.
if you have issues with notifications I can only point you to this thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...
😃I hope this might clear up things.
