My fitbit one shows my steps, and if I disconnect my fitbit from the app and reconnect, it shows my steps until the next sync, when my steps revert to 0. I removed and reinstalled the app. Same problem. I have turned the fitbit off and back on to reset it. Same problem. Getting really frustrated. Help!

To clarify, steps show as zero in the app, not on the fitbit one. But manually adding steps does not meet my needs.

I am having the same problem. I have done all the same things as you, and I've gone one step further when I tried connecting a different Fitbit; that one doesn't work either. That means it's definitely the app, not the tracker itself.
So frustrating as now we don't have a dashboard OR a functional app.
I have been taking photos of my tracker each night so I will know my step count, but that's pretty useless....

It worked for about 20 minutes yesterday, and now it is back to zeroing out with each sync again. It would really be nice if someone from Fitbit could chime in here with some help.

Called Fitbit and they said it was an issue with the app. They said the update they released a few days ago fixed it. I updated the app again, and it did not fix it. Now, even when I disconnect and re-pair the device, it doesn't even show my steps until the next sync, like it did before. Is anyone else having success with updated app?

So does my FitBit One. I tried restarting it 3 time, plugging ang unplugging it from the charger 3 times within 8 secs,. erase the app and downloading it again, shutting off Bluetooth and then turning back on followed by rebooting my iPhone. Nothing works. I wish FitBit would assume some responsibility here and help it's customers.
