I have a Fitbit Inspire 3 for iPhone. I've noticed that for months, the calorie tracker didn't update after i logged meals. In those cases, the calorie count was too low, because the summary would not reflect everything logged for the day. Quitting and restarting the app forced the total calories to fully update.
A week or so ago, I noticed the opposite problem. The summary would double-count entries, and sometimes even log a single entry twice. I would manually correct the double entries, then quit and restart the app.
Today, it went completely haywire. While I was logging entries, it would change the amounts, and sometimes even the food item entered. It now looks like it undercounted most of the day, and then doubled multiple entries in a way I can't figure out. I either ate 1600 calories, or 2900. And it's not just the summary in the food log -- the calorie count on the "Today" tab is different every time I restart the app.
I have the most recent version of the app and as described, I restart it constantly. I love the Fitbit, but every few months, the software gets buggier and less usable! 😞
