I have tried all of the solutions for getting my Fitbit Alta to pair with my iPhone 8. I have restarted both the device and my phone. The phone just keeps searching and searching. I have also tried to turn the Bluetooth on and off. The Bluetooth can't even locate my fitbit. This has been a frustrating week trying everything to get it in working order. My old phone is long gone so I am unable to remove it from the old phone. All software is up to date as well.
Could this be an issue with my alta itself?
HELP!!!!

Hi @Ederfan. Good to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems getting your Alta to sync with your iPhone 8 but I'd like to give you a hand. Thanks for all that you've tried to get it to work!
Since restarting your tracker and phone and rebooting the Bluetooth hasn't helped, I can recommend removing your Alta from your connected devices and adding it again. For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device" and after that, go to the Fitbit app. Tap on the icon of your tracker at the top left corner and scroll down to Notifications. Enable them and it will ask your permission to set up notifications, just agree to it and then see if your Alta syncs as it should.
Hope this helps and if you need more assistance, let me know!

That didn't work. The Bluetooth can't find the alta. It just keeps buffering.
