Welcome back to the Fitbit Community, @BCEB.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that the Fitbit app freezes and won't let you enter any information or exercise. I am sorry that you are going through this situation, I totally understand how you are feeling. Our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app. Please make sure you have downloaded the new version by following these instructions.

I also recommend doing the following: log out of the Fitbit app, force quit the app, restart the phone, log into the app.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Re:the suggestion to close the app, log out and restart...  I have to do that 3-4 times a week.  Is a fix coming?  I’m not going to renew my premium if the simplest things don’t work.

Its my app, (up to date), on my iphone 11. When I start an exercise
tracker, it often freezes and I am unable to access any of the dashboard
icons, like water log, sleep, heart rate or exercise log. I then force
close the app, uninstall it, reinstall it, plug in my device and reboot the
whole system....3-4 times a week. Very frustrating!

Hi @Hqbear, thank you for your reply. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. I understand how frustrating this is for you and recommend following these steps to clear your iPhone cache: https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache-on-an-iPhone.

Note you’ll need to log back into the Fitbit app with your email address and password. Be sure to accept the requests for your phone to access your location, notifications, and other settings.
