Fitbit App on A iPhone won’t detect ANY tracker

Wife has an iPhone X.

I have an IPhone XR

Both of us had a Charge 2 each

she bought me a Versa for my birthday . 1 week later damaged her Charge 2. So she wanted to use my Charge 2.

heres the problem.

1.The app on her phone won’t detect my old Charge 2.

2. App on my iPhone DOES detect my Charge HR in addition to of course my new Versa

3. The app on her phone won’t even detect my Versa

What have I have done so far:

1. Restart her phone

2. Soft reset the Charge 2

3. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app on her phone

4. Soft reset her iphone

5. Update ALL apps- just in case

6. Put blue tooth off and on via settings on her phone

7. Waste 1.5 hours of my life!

Since my phone detects this Charge 2, the problem is somewhere in the app or in the iPhone that she has.

Her phone detects other blue tooth devices okay (Bose speakers , ipods, car blue tooth etc)

I have been having the same issue.  My charge 3 that I ordered last October hasn't synced to my iPhone 8 plus in over 6 months.  I've contacted support multiple times, they go through the troubleshooting and nothing is solved.  Then I called today, and they told me it's something wrong with the app on my phone, and until they fix it, nothing can be done.  A new charge 3 or different Fitbit wouldn't change anything, and I just have to sit and wait because my phone has the type of Fitbit app that isn't working.  Not fair!!
