Fitbit Charge HR Set Up

I just bought a used fitbit from ebay and cannot set it up with the app. I keep getting error request 400: bad request. I tried logging out of the app and then back in. It still didnt work. Please help!

1. Log out.
2. Kill/quit the app.
3. Open the app. It should ask you to log in. If it doesn't, you haven't been logged out.
4. Make sure your tracker is close to your mobile.
5. Perform factory reset of the tracker (not just restart).
6. Log in to the app and pair/link your tracker as usual.
