Hey Guys,
I'm trying to connect the fitbit with my macbook running on OS 10.10.
The birth field is not there so I can't fill this in and go on with connecting.
Safari has the latest firmware.
Anyone else having this problem or knowing why this happens?

Hi there @goulle, welcome aboard to our Community.
I wonder if you were able to complete your profile? Certainly this is not an expected behavior, so I recommend to try again after you have restarted your computer.
If the issue persist, try to change your location to US, if you are using a different one. In some countries some of the options may presents small glitches.
As additional help in case you need to set up your tracker, take a look at this video for additional help.
Keep me posted how it goes, if the issue persist we can try something else.

Thank you for the reply. I have set up my profile in my browser, chrome. The account is complet but the device isn't sinced yet.
I have to download the software fitbit connect to do that. I changed the location, like you said, downloaded the software again but it didn't made any difference. The birthdate field is still not there. I filled in my birthdate in the browser but the software asks for it again.

If the issue persists, I recommend to clearing your browser's cache. Directions on how to clear your cache on a variety of browsers can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache.
Now how it goes the issue with pairing your tracker to your Fitbit account? I saw on your Community profile that you have a tracker already paired, so I wonder if at this point is not syncing?

I am having the exact same problem. I can also see there is other people on the community with the same issue. Is there a fix for this yet? The birthday is already registered on my profile, but it doesn´t show up through fitbit connect?

Clearing the cache didn't seem to work, but I found a rather easy fix.
Just change your country location in the menu available next to the apple logo in the upper left corner on your computer screen. It doesn't look like there is a deafult country but if you select one, the birthday field changes and you are ready to proceed 🙂

Sorry for the inconvenience. We released updates to the client on Friday 1/20/2017 that should resolve the issue.
You will need to restart Fitbit Connect and try the setup flow once again.
Please let us know if the issue persists by responding in this thread.
