Fitbit Versa has a life of its own.

My Fitbit versa has been acting weird for the last 24 hours. It will randomly select a workout and start it (I never touched my Fitbit not even accidentally hit something). It then won’t let me start it. I try and it’ll keep going back to it or to the page to start an alarm. It will then rapidly start scrolling through all my daily stats and won’t stop. Wouldn’t let me decline a phone call earlier. I’ve tried restarting and the software is up to date.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @SunsetRunner

I understand your Fitbit Versa is not functioning properly. I see you tried restarting it and that did not resolve your issue. Try restarting several times and see if that resolves it.
Here’s how:

  1. For Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

If your still having issues after several restarts then let’s try turning your Fitbit Versa off then on again.

heres how:

On your watch, open the Settings app tap the gear wheel then tap> About > Shutdown > confirm the shutdown.

To turn your watch back on, press the back button.

😃 Please let me know if this resolves your issue. If it does indeed resolve your issues could you please tap the “choose as best answer” under my post? Doing so really helps other individuals who come to this Community looking for answers to questions similar to your own. I’d really appreciate it!

Sadly it didn’t. I had to contact FitBit because it wouldn’t even turn on. They have to send me a new one. Thank you though!
