Can’t connect messages to my iPad

I tried to connect my iPad messages to my charge 3 I used info online saying go to Bluetooth and forget it and then go to the app and pair it from that. Well I did that and I still can’t recieve messages what should I do?????

I understand you want to activate messages on your iPad for your Fitbit.. Please note that currently notifications are a known issue and the Fitbit Team is working on resolution.
