Fitbit Versa not syncing correctly.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently upgraded to a Versa, have read all help forums, my fitbit does not sync, if it does decide to show notifications it will ring after I have received a phone call.  My friend also has the same issues.  Days of data do not sync, really disappointed with this watch - it has not worked since day one except for rare moments

May I ask which type of phone that your having problems with?

I am on my second brand new iPhone X...

Same issue still persists, my friend with the exact same problem uses a Samsung, by process of elimination it must be the fitbit

Since your having problems with iOS, which I know very little about I'm moving your iOS  issue to the iOS board.

For notifications I would check the phones notification panel and fitbits permissions.

Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Try these troubleshooting steps if your device is not syncing

As for my Android device, I find with every app update, things get smother.

Hello @Elyseellen, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@Elyseellen, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us.

Have you restarted your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen and your phone already? If so, I would like to suggest you to check the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
