I just got off the phone with tech support. They are aware of the bug in the update and indicated they are working on it. They said it should be fixed by tonight and will have to reboot to get the fix. Time will tell...

@jp2533 I am moving your post to the iOS app forum. You are describing an issue with the MobileRun feature of the app. I just tried to change my distance voice cues and is causes the app to crash.
I have iOS app v3.3.1 (857). Do you have the same version?

It looks like Version 33.1.30
Everything was working fine until the app update last Friday.

@jp2533 That number is your Versa firmware version. There are many "versions" of the app out there, but I suspect you have the same version that I do. You are describing the exact issue that @Rich_Laue included as a link. Bring up his post.
I am going to try to get moderator attention to this. I have not mastered merging posts, or I would move yours to the other thread. Sorry. This is a situation that deserves attention.

I had this problem tonight too. Half no voice cue, only mile. Tried to change and app closed. This and exercise tracking not tracking heart rate during exercise the last week.

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem. I logged out of the app and restarted my phone which didn't work. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Any other advice?

I am having the same problem. When trying to change voice cues to .5 miles the app crashes. Iphone XR. Worked fine until the update of the Fitbit app.

Here is what happens with my App. I am able to change the frequency using the ‘time based cues’. Any setting will be saved. However, I am unable to set any ‘distance based cues’. ‘Distance based cues’ cause the App to crash.

Is anyone having some random issues after the recent app update? I have an iPhone and since the update a few days ago, I've notice some issues....1. I cannot choose the exercise tracking voice cue for every 0.5 miles on the app...when I do, the app crashes and kicks me out. 2. I'm still getting notifications, but the ongoing list of notifications from Fitbit that is on the app has not updated since mid June. 3. When I make updates on my macbook, then sync, the changes do not appear on my app. I've contact online CHAT twice and they are unable to help me...the last person said she was escalating the issue and I should receive an email.....

Setting for 0.5 miles distance voice cue switched to 25 minute time passed voice cue. Cannot get distance to be tracked instead of time tracked. I choose but choice does not register.

I am having the exact same issue on my iPhone 7 iOS 12.3.1. I'm also curious why the recent iOS fitbit application upgrade changed my previous setting from .5 miles to 1 mile.

Wanted to add an additional data point - this is happening to me as well, even if I restart my phone and app. Specifically, I am unable tot change the “Distance Based Cues” frequency from 1.0 mile to 0.5 mile. When I try to apply this change, the application crashes. May be a bug with the new update.
