Every time I try to manually add exercise the app crashes. Fitbit Charge 3, no problems doing this until iOS update. My exercise goal is 5 days and the workout I was trying to add would have been for the 6th day. IDK if that matters. No problems logging food or water.

On my iPhone 11 Pro Max every time I go to add an exercise completed the app just goes in and closes. Any one else having this issue?

Hi @Ninaballerina. It's nice to have you on board!
Thanks for letting me know that your phone was updated to iOS 13, and I'm sorry for the issues that you've had with the Fitbit app. This is an unusual behavior as this shouldn't happen when logging your exercise. Before anything else please verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. Also, I'd recommend to try the following:
Let me know the outcome.

This happens 100% of the time I try to manually log exercise after updating to iOS 13. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and it didn’t help. This has continued for several days.
having to write down all my exercise times and log them on the Fitbit website hours later is getting to be very frustrating. Please look into this, this is a significant bug

Hi @Ninaballerina. I'm glad to see you here again. @Golgoret Welcome on board!
Thanks to both of you for keeping me updated about the Fitbit app's behavior. I understand your frustration while logging your exercises in the fitbit.com dashboard, and let's continue working on this. To further investigate this situation, please provide me with your iPhone's model and confirm if you've tried the steps advised to you above.
I'll look forward to your reply.

This is an iPhone XS. I tried the steps listed above and it did work for the moment. However, it also worked for the other person on this thread before breaking again so I am skeptical. Will update if/when the crash starts happening again.
side note: I updated my phone from iOS 13 to iOS 13.1 today. Not sure whether it will affect anything but we will see I guess

I am using the XS Max and yes followed the instructions above.
Update: I did the 13.1 update and I was able to log exercise from yesterday. We’ll see tomorrow.

Hi @Golgoret and @Ninaballerina. Thanks for getting back with more details about this situation. @Austin.philly, welcome on board! I'm sorry for the delay, and let me continue helping you.
@Golgoret and @Ninaballerina, thank you also for letting that you've updated to iOS 13.1. Please keep monitoring the Fitbit app's behavior and don't hesitate to post back if the issue persists.
@Austin.philly, I've moved your post to this thread so you can receive related responses to the issue you're having. While your iPhone 11 Pro Max isn't yet a supported device, meaning that the Fitbit app hasn't been optimized to work with this model, I'd recommend to give a try to the steps posted above.
I'll look forward to your response!

This has been happening to me as well. Extremely frustrating. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app and have been looking for threads online for a resolution. This started happening after the latest iPhone update. Just waiting for the next one to hopefully resolve this.
In the meantime, I have to turn my phone OFF and then back on again to log exercise (this has been the only viable temporary "fix")
