Fitbit app displaying the error "Failure to Sync"

For the last three days, my iPhone has given me a “Failure to Synch” message continually. It actually seems to be syncing, but the screen dips with every attempt at synching, with a return of the failure message.  It’s like it’s stuck in a loop.  I’ve done the update for the app, and restarted my phone.  I don’t want to delete and reinstall the app because it says I’ll lose all my data.  Help!

Hi there @CindyLouMac, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided and for taking the time to troubleshoot this situation prior to contacting us.

Please let try to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app in order to fix the error message you constantly get. To avoid losing your data, I recommend syncing your Charge 3 prior to uninstalling the app.

I've moved your post to the iOS App as there are more chances to get related replies here.
