Hi @iwbrscat, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the steps that you've tried. This sounds odd, and just to confirm may I know the model of your iPhone and iPad? Also, what is the iOS version running on both devices? Do you see an error message when trying to open the Fitbit app?
If you've not done so, I'd recommend to force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, turn off other Bluetooth connections and try opening the Fitbit app.
Keep me posted!
