This has just happened to me too. Deleted the app to try again and the same- tracks everything but cannot physically click on any of the menu options at all.
Any suggestions?

The Fitbit app froze again when trying to access any of the “+” buttons on it. Luckily, logging out, closing the app, reopening & logging back in unfroze it again.

The issue is when I use the plus next to the tile and track an exercise. I will start to track and part way through the exercise it freezes and I can’t open any tiles. When I log off and log back on I can then open the tiles but it lost the tracking of the workout.
Details for my phone:
IPhone X
IOS 13.5.1
Thanks
Amy
@amy.e.123, thanks for your efforts and I'm sorry that the Fitbit app is still crashing while tracking your exercises. Just to confirm, does this happen when going to the Fitbit app > "+" sign next to the exercise tile > Track option? Or is it when manually logging an activity? To further investigate, please let me know the model and OS/software version of your phone.

Same issues here. I have deleted and reloaded the app several times. It does not seem as if Fitbit is acknowledging the issue is on their end.

I am a long time user and have recently begun tracking many exercises. I experienced the same issue today. I accidentally closed the app while tracking a walk in the wilderness. Now nothing in the app will open. I am loathe to uninstall and reinstall if past data might be lost. 😬

this is something that has happened several times in several days already...i start the app and start walking, after a little while i noticed the app had stopped, and then it shuts down! i have been trying to find out in the fitbit website anything similar to this, but not finding answers to this issue.
i would like to see what fitbit knows about this, and what the solution for this isue is.

Had exact same issue... tracking running in background. Went to check in to see how far I'd gone to realize it had totally quit. ALL tiles were unresponsive though heart rate and steps were registering. Had to totally log out, restart iphone, log back in. Real pain when you are depending on fitbit app to track exercise. Needs to be corrected.

Hi everyone. It's great to see you participating in the Community Forums and I'm sorry for my delayed response.
Thanks for your efforts while trying the tips from my post. I'm sorry that the tiles on the Fitbit app aren't opening after tapping on them. I understand how important is to keep a track of your data and since you've tried the possible troubleshooting steps, please provide me with the following information:
- Model of your phone
- OS/software version running on your phone
I look forward to your response.

Hi @fitedu. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for your efforts while trying to find a fix for this issue. I'm sorry that this is happening when tracking your walk and to work on this together, let's try the following steps:
- Log out from the Fitbit app.
- Make sure the Fitbit app is updated in your iPhone.
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app, log back in and try tracking your walk activity one more time.
Let me know how it goes.

They have been really responsive but have yet to come up with a solution and it is now driving me mad. Simply stopped using the Blaze which is a shame.
Can I ask when this will be revolved and if there is any other solution or refund?

Hi again
I took my iPhone 7 iOS 13.5.1 for another walk, and again the Fitbit app not only shut down, but it shut down the iPhone! And that reminded me that this issue was not for the first time! This has happened at least 4 times...
Hope a resolution is near!

Hey, in my Fitbit app the manual add isn’t working, for anything... water, food, exercise, but everything else in the app is working just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated. (I’ve restarted my phone, made sure I was updated and turned on and off Bluetooth)

My Fitbit is tracking steps and will sync on my iPhone but I can't get the categories to open when I click on the + sign:
1 of 5 days
sleep
food tracker
water
etc.
just started today (Sunday), worked fine on Friday, did notice yesterday. it won't let me open to track a trail

My steps are still adding up, but the tiles are frozen...all of them. I have restarted the phone but haven't tried yet to uninstall / reinstall the app, but according to the replies here, that doesn't seem to work. I used the tracker all last week and then today, wouldn't work
