I have restarted the app many times and turned the phone off, but there's no improvement. The touch screen is unresponsive and then freezes. This does not happen to any other apps so the problem is the fitbit app and not the phone

Hello @VronJ. Welcome to the community forums!
Thank you for the information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. If you haven't done so, I recommend trying to force quit restart the Fitbit App, then please try to log back into your Fitbit account to see if the inconvenience is resolved.
If the inconvenience persists, I recommend clearing cache for the Fitbit App on your mobile device:
- Open your iPhone's settings.
- Scroll until you see the eligible app, then tap it.
- Look for a "Clear cache" option. If the toggle next to it is green, tap it to clear the app's cache.
Note that the instructions may vary depending on the model of your phone.
On a side note, I've moved your post to another thread to keep our forums organized.
Hope this helps.
