Hi @Fittish. Welcome! I'm glad to see you on board.

Thanks for letting me know about the Fitbit app, as well for making sure it's updated. This sounds odd and to look into this may I know if it crashes just when trying to sync? Or does it happen after opening the app? Also, please let me know your iPhone's model.

In the meantime and to work on this situation, I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and try to sync.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Update

Thanks for the feedback rebooting didn’t help unfortunately.

If I have internet connection on the app crashes just after opening but if both internet and Bluetooth are off the app launches and crashes on syncing when the internet connection is switched back on

hence although I have updated on my app the web version of the app is not logging the data

my iPod is model type A1574

thanks

Hi @Fittish. It's great to see you here again and I'm sorry for the delay.

I appreciate you for trying the steps from my post and for keeping me informed. I confirmed that your iPod Touch 6th Gen appears in our compatible devices list, meaning that the Fitbit app should be working well. Since the app keeps crashing after downloading the latest update, as last resort I'd recommend to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app from the App Store.

Please keep me updated.

The app is only crashing for us when I attempt to view the sleep time for the Ace 2. All other features seem to work fine for the Ace 2 and Charge 3. Any suggestions what is causing this? We’ve rebooted the phone & have all updates.

I have an android motoz3, and since the update in may,  I cannot even open the app. It continually crashes. I've forced a quit, reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone.. Oh, and filed numerous reports with phone data attached.  What am I missing?
