Fitbit app keeps saying unable to update/install apps

I’ve just got a new Fitbit Sense and since setting it up I keep getting the same notification several times a day. I have no apps other than the standard ones nor have I tried to download any and I can’t figure out which one or what is causing this?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sharing a screenshot of the messages. While this is odd, let's try reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app by doing the following:

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap Devices at the upper left corner
  4. Tap Add More Devices, select your Sense and follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Wait until the process is done and monitor its behavior in the next few days
