Fitbit app no longer tracks steps?

The latest update now shows the new dashboard but it longer has a steps counter as part of it? Why is this the case?

@Carlfitbi1 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It is possible that the step tile was hidden for some reason. Don't worry, follow these steps to get the step tile back to be shown on your dashboard. That should help!

I followed those steps but there was nothing at the bottom of the page. I ended up adding mobiletrack and this showed the steps and km again.
