The fitbit app will not work on my ipad. It has in the past but not anymore. Does not see my Ionic fitbit. I have shut everything down, have removed the app then put back on. Does not recognize that I have the ionic fitbit or the email address and password. This has been going on for about 3 weeks. The app works on my iphone generally - sometimes glitchy but eventually the data updates. No sure what else to do.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Sfullwood
I understand you’re experiencing issues using your iPad with your Fitbit Ionic. I use my Fitbit on my iPad as well. Can you tell me which model of iPad you have as well as its current software version? (Example: iOS 13.3 iPad Pro 9.7) Knowing this information allows me to assist you better. Also you say that your app works on your iPhone “generally but sometimes glitchy “. Do you have your Fitbit Ionic connected to your iPhone and your iPad Bluetooth at the same time? I’m asking because I’ve noticed that can cause conflicts at times.
😃 Keep me posted

Hello again @Sfullwood
I'm not sure what is going on. Your last post just said “Let me know what’s wrong. Thanks”. I need more information to help you as my last post requested. Are you responding to the email you get or are you responding in the actual Fitbit Community Forum? Try going to the actual forum instead.

Hello again @Sfullwood
Unfortunately the iPad Pro 10.5 is not listed as a compatible device for the new Fitbit App. You can view the list here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 This can explain why your Fitbit App no longer works on this particular device. Did you happen to update your Fitbit App on your iPad when you started to notice changes?

Hum??? Not happy about that. Why would Fitbit discontinue this ipad as compatible. If I had known updating the app would take it out of the system I wouldn't have updated the app.

Hello again @Sfullwood
I truly do understand your frustration. I have noticed more devices being added in the last several months to the compatibility list. Hopefully yours will be added soon as well.
