Every time I open app on iPhone, it quickly crashes. I have latest version, have turned phone off and on, removed and redownloaded app. Phone support constant busy signal and chat unresponsive. Anyone else? Suggest: if there is a global issue, let users know!!!
Best AnswerMine is doing the same exact thing this morning! I always check my sleep as soon as I wake up and it won’t pull up at all, when I click on it it will flash on then go off immediately. I’ve tried everything listed also.
this is happening to my app also, I found if I kept trying to open the app say 5 or 6 times it would eventually open and stay open. My app is at the latest version as is the phone
Same here. I restarted my Charge 5 with no improvement, turned my iPhone off and on, and deleted and reinstalled the app. The problem must be on Fitbit's side.
Best AnswerSame with mine!
Best AnswerMe too. Judd gong by similar posts, they have an issue but haven’t gotten around to communicating with users, which is annoying.
Best AnswerSame here I tried the airplane mode uninstall and reinstall and phone restart. But I thought the issue was my phone was not on the lastest iOS update so I updated it same issue. Did everything again restart. Uninstall app. Restart phone reinstall app. Airplane mode. I even tried downloaded fitbit on my fire tablet. And it wouldn’t even download stating that Fitbit was unavailable. Then I tried logging into Fitbit online on my iOS and it wouldn’t sync or update. Fitbit was crashing before and after iOS update
Best AnswerI put my iPhone 12 in airplane mode and the Fitbit app stayed open. Of course, no syncing of data that way which is kind of the point. But that indicates to me that the problem is in communicating with Fitbit’s servers, not the app itself.
Happening to me right now. Installing Fitbit app 3.76 on iPhone running iOS 16.3.1
Have tried multiple combinations of removing / installing app, power cycle phone, and toggle of BlueTooth. Nothing is working. App was working fine before yesterday when I had to delete and reinstall, so I assume that this is a bug in the latest version of the FitBit app since nothing else has changed on my phone.
Tried the airplane mode idea. I was able to log in, but couldn't do anything without turning off airplane at which point the app crashed again.
Best AnswerThanks, the app will load in airplane mode for me, but says it needs to be connected to the internet to sync. The app will not load and immediately crashes upon opening when not in airplane mode.
Best Answer16.3.1 update last night. My FitBit app crashed as well. Misery loves company. I uninstalled the app (removed it completely), then rebooted the phone, and reinstalled the app, then rebooted the phone. When I tried to open the app, it stayed open long enough for me to log-in, then crashed again. I opened Safari, searched here, went back to the app and it stayed open.
Each time I have accessed the app since then, it has crashed, but navigating to another open app and using it for a moment (changing the data in the phone’s RAM) then going back to FitBit has worked. It has stayed open.
I’m certain FitBit will get a fix out quickly, because this work-around certainly isn’t permanent, but I hope it helps at least a few of you. Good luck!

Best AnswerMine is also. Hope it works out for all.
Best AnswerI had to go into Airplane Mode and turn off WiFi. Once I got the app running I then turned on Wifi again, pulled down on the app screen to refresh and it then synced to my Versa 4. Turned Airplane Mode off and refreshed again and it still synced. Force the app closed, then re-opened it and it stayed open and was able to sync. Closed it one more time and reopened it, and then it crashed again. So frustrating.
