Same thing, the app wont open all of a sudden this morning. I am tired of fitbit mobile app problems, I used to have app sync problems, now the app does not event launch... I will never buy fitbit again, it is unreliable
Best AnswerSame issue with since early this am. It finally opened and stayed open so I thought all was good. Went for my walk, came back to sync it and again it won’t stay open. I saw a flash that showed it recorded my steps but wouldn’t stay open long enough for me to look at anything else. Hope it’s just a temporary glitch
Best AnswerI emailed them to say Im actually moving, this is ridiculous if not sorted
Best AnswerMine was ok, but randomly crashing again.
Looks like Fitbit are aware of the issue.
Same for app and website login - both crash. I noticed the website removed the “Sign in” option while I was actively trying to sign in. Hope they aren’t getting hacked…
Best AnswerOnly received my FitBit last night and the same is happening with mine. I have done all all the things you have several times over. Thanks for commenting.
Same here - iPhone with ios 16.31. - Uninstalled app, shutdown and restarted phone. Re-installed App. Still won't open. 😞
Best AnswerMaybe FitBit should offer a roll back to the previous version or remove the 3.76 from the store until they get the issue identified and resolved. This is ridiculous that the issue has been going on since yesterday and they haven't offered a solution. Put a stable version back in the store.
I think Google are updating it in the background and their server is causing the app to close.
To test it: Turn off WIFI/Data and the app opens and stays open. So, it's only when connected to the server, that it closes.
