Fitbit app says I don't have an internet connection.

At random Fitbit app decides it can't access the internet and there's no way to reestablish connection except to power off my iPhone and restart it.  All other apps can access the Internet just fine.  Doesn't matter if I'm using cellular data or WiFi.  I should be on whatever the current release is for the IOS app/

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment I would like to suggest you the following:

 

  • Force-quit the Fitbit app when you get this message and open it again. If the message is still showing up:
  • Restart your phone. If the message keeps popping up:
  • Uninstall the Fitbit app, restart your phone and install it back. Make sure to sync your Fitbit device before uninstalling the app.
