Since the release of iOS 11 the Fitbit app sporadically believes that Bluetooth is off even though it is turned on and displays the following message: “One isn’t syncing because your iPhone’s Bluetooth is off”

Hello @JohnS2973, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I appreciate you have come back and shared your experience with us. Now, when it comes to the battery on your watch draining faster than usual; tell me, which watch are you currently using? Did the issue started recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to restart your watch, then monitor it for the next few days to check if the battery is still giving your trouble. If so, please reply to me so we can determine what we should do next.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

The battery is still draining quickly. This only started about a day ago
after fixing bluetooth problem . I've had an Iconic for about a year. I
believe the reason it's draining is the the display is not timing out.
It's supposed to stay on for 10 seconds according to the watch settings but
It's now been on for 5 minutes straight with it sitting stationary on my
desk.

Hello @JohnS2973, i hope you're doing well, thanks for coming back and let me know you're still experiencing issues with the battery on your Ionic.
At this moment, I would like to ask you to perform a factory reset on your Ionic to check if this helps resolve the issue affecting the time the screen should stay on. Make sure to sync your Ionic first, as this will remove all the information recorded by the tracker on that day.
To perform a factory reset:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted!

I currently have the same problem and i’m getting frustrated. Maybe I should’ve gotten a Fitbit Versa at all.

I've had fitbits for a bit over 2 years - first the Alta and now Ionic. My
experience is that about every 6 months they get glitchy. It is a
frustrating pita to get sorted out, but typically can indeed get sorted
out. The procedure that they send to fix the bluetooth problem is pretty
good, but the first thing you should do is power-down the bluetooth (phone)
and power it up again. That ultimately - in sequence with the other steps
did the trick.

I'm having the same issue with my JBL Endurance DIVE Bluetooth headphones.
I've tried over a dozen times to pair these with my Ionic.
They are both in pairing mode. My Ionic sees it but stays pairing forever.
My phone is not seeing my Ionic either. HELP
My ionic is not syncing. I don't know why. I did followed your instructions and then it worked for a few minutes and then back to zero.

I upgraded to IOS 13 this morning. Now I can’t get my Charge 2 to sync with Fitbit. As per answers found here, I turned off wifi and Bluetooth and opened the Fitbit app. Then went to settings and turned on Bluetooth and wifi and it still reads Bluetooth is turned off and that is why it’s not syncing.
please advise!

I was really concerned after reading multiple messages stating that Fitbit wasn’t compatible with iOS13, but this was the problem all along.

I had the same problem. In trying to troubleshoot it on my own, I deleted my Charge 2 from my Bluetooth device listing, then I couldn't re-add it because the app kept saying "turn Bluetooth on" (and it was already on). I following the above suggestion from MarcoG on 9/6/18. I deleted the fitbit app, restarted my phone, installed the Fitbit app again and now everything seems okay. Good luck.

I have the share button on but I am still not getting text messages. I get all my other messages from other apps but the text messages from my phone I will not get on my versa lite. I was before, any suggestions on what to do. Thank you

Following all the tips didn’t work for me. I had to go into my Fitbit app and set it up again - like it was brand new - which re-synced my Fitbit to my iPhone Fitbit app. I still have an iPhone 7+ (haven’t upgraded yet). If you’re still on an earlier version, maybe trying this will work for you too! 😉
