My aunt gave me her old Fitbit flex and my son wants to use it. I have an old
iPhone that I can link it too but I don't want to lose my old data. Will the data or has the data already transferred to my new phone? Can I delete the account on the old phone without losing the data?Or is there something special I need to do?

Hello and welcome to the forums @Dregus

Data is kept under the user's email address at the Fitbit servers. When the old Flex gets taken over by another user, they start fresh and previous owner's history is still kept on their account.

Your data can still be reached by logging onto the Fitbit dashboard. Just log out of your account before setting your son's up.

If you have any other Fitbit devices in range, get them at least twenty-five feet away when he gets set up.
