Fitbit hr stopped functioning

Yesterday my Fitbit started acting strangely. Although it was charged it went black. When I plugged it in all that has come up is a bar on the screen that is half full. I have tried to restart following the instructions but nothing has happened. What do I do?

Welcome aboard to the Community @Sorogojoe! Could you tell me how the screen error look like or could you share a picture of it? Are these the steps (shared by @AlejandraFitbit) the ones you followed while restarting your tracker? You can also try setting up your tracker as a new device.
