Hi
I have a charge HR (default settings incl all day sync on) which is paired with my iphone 6. From what I have read they sync via bluetooth so no worries about data usage for my mobile phoneplan there. Does the Fitbit app on my phone drive any other data usage on my phone? Does it pass data back to fitbit servers for storage etc?
Thanks
Tim

Welcome to the Community @timmercerau! I hope you're doing great!
Let me help you out, the fitbit app will only use you phone's data when you're syncing unless you have the all-day-sync activated.
Hope it helps!

Thanks Magin. I thought the All day Sync setting was between my phone and my Fitbit. I will turn it off to save data.
Cheers

Is this also true on the Charge 2? Does it use my data plan if I am in walk mode (so I can see the map?). The reason I ask is because the first day with my new charge 2, it used 115mb of data (my plan is only 1GB!), but I believe I had all day sync on. After that I turned off all day sync and the cell option altogether, but I do want to be able to see maps of my walks. Thanks!!
