Hi @SunsetRunner,
The Fitbit App shows your tracker's battery level from the last time you synced your tracker, not the current level of the battery. If you force sync your tracker, the battery level in the app will update to its current level.
Hope this helps and welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Any other solutions besides this one, restarting phone, turning off and turning on Bluetooth?

Welcome to the Forums @mdassi01! You could also try logging out and back in from the Fitbit app. If the battery level does not change after that, it could be that the tracker is not charging properly so you may try cleaning its contacts:
After that you can try restarting your tracker. If the issue persists, please be sure to reach out to our Support Team. I know that they're always happy to listen to your experience and provide different options for you, if needed!
I hope this helps. Let me know the outcome.

Thank you. None of that worked. I did put the tracker in the dubrie (donegal) and used a paperclip to push in to reset. That worked. Thank you. Respectfully,

I have the same problem. Have rebooted the phone. Resynced and it still says low battery on the app even though it has been on charge and is showing five lights.....

Welcome to the Fitbit Forums @kazredhead! Have you tried logging out and back in from the Fitbit app? Always make sure that your Flex is fully charged and charging under these instructions.
Keep me posted.

Hi @jwlpfl,
I'd first recommend making sure that you are using version 2.24.1 of the Fitbit iOS App. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.
Next, I would recommend restarting your tracker, rebooting your iOS device, and then opening the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.
This should cause your tracker to sync, which in turn will update your tracker's battery level in the App.
Hope this helps!

@jwlpfl If you are trying to sync with a second mobile device, I'd recommend the troubleshoots mentioned here.
Also, I'd recommend making sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet, make sure that your iOS device is updated to the latest software version, and then:
1. Force quit the Fitbit iOS App by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit iOS App > and then swipe up on the app to force close.
2. Reopen the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.
Let me know how it goes!

This does not help. The app will not allow sync due to dead battery. However battery is 80% charged. Syncing is not an option.

Hello @Mo71, thanks for joining us, it's always great for me to welcome new members to the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, which tracker are you currently using? Are you getting an error message when trying to sync? Please note that if your tracker is 80% charged you should be able to sync it. Nevertheless, I would like to suggest you to try to sync it while the tracker is plugged in and charging. If you're still having trouble syncing your Fitbit tracker, please follow these steps:
If your device still won't sync, try these steps:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Not true. I’m having the same issue as the poster and force synced my Fitbit (more than once) and the battery in the app is still showing 20%
