Fitbit messages are not coming through the app.

My private messages are not coming through. I get notifications that I have messages or someone cheered me but when I go to view the message or cheer them back, my message tab is blank.

Oh, ok @Playmate

I don't have either frackers, but you may try to restart it.

You can do this by clipping your tracker to the charger and plugging the charger to a USB port on your computer or a wall charger. Then, press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds and your tracker should vibrate and show the Fitbit logo. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Try to do this again, if it doesn't correct the problem the first time.

Hello @Playmate, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @ACG, thanks for all your help.

@Playmate, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Tell me, have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to force-quit it and open it again. Then, check if you get messages in the Fitbit app from your friends. Make sure to go to Account > Notifications and check the following is enabled:

  • Messages from Friends
  • Cheers and Taunts

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
