The average steps per day for a particular Month are correct on the Month view but are incorrect on the year view. Last September I did 323,278 steps and in October 373,295. That was a daily average of 10,755 and 12,041 respectively. However, the Year view shows 11,593 and 11,466 respectively.
The Week and Month displays take the total steps and divide by the total days. The Year display is consistent with the following: First, find the average for each week starting from the 1st of the month, so 1st to 7th, 8th to 14th, 15th to 21st, 22nd to 28th and 29th to end of month. Then report the average of these averages as the daily average. This always works for Februaries that are not in a leap year but in every other month it can be wrong.
Could this be changed to use total steps divided by total days?
The distance displays appear to have the same issue.
