Saturday, suddenly, fitbit stopped sending exercise data to MyFitnessPal. After struggling for 1-2 hours Sunday, I finally deleted both Fitbit and MyFitnessPal apps and reloaded them.
GREAT! It worked.
For one day. 😠😡😤.
I’m not going through this again.
Either this iPhone 12 is rubbish (almost certainly so), or one of the other of these apps has been updated by some pre-teen in some developing nation.
CEOs are just so effing greedy, need to squeeze every last cent out of the populace.
Same issue here. I went into MyFitnessPal and disconnected/reconnected FitBit (More > Apps & Devices), which worked. Then a few hours later, I looked in MFP and it wasn't updating again. Disconnect/reconnect again, fine for a few hours, then back to not syncing.
Seems to be working today, though, so far. EDIT: Nope, failing again.

Hello all,

Best AnswerSuddenly, Fitbit is now feeding MyFitnessPal again - starting around mid-day today, 29Apr (EDT).
🤷🏽
... and back-filled for the previous week - but allowing for my manual input - actually inserting (in some instances) small negative Fitbit values*.
*E.g. One day I put in a guesstimate of 900 calories burned; and now look back to that day and see a new Fitbit “sync” adjusted -150 (I guess the software calculates that I overestimated my workout).
Mine is finally working again…what a relief and thank you to everyone who tried to help and find reasons and solution. The solution here was time.
