So today I got back home and seen that the fitbit app in the app store on my iphone needed to be updated... before that my fitbit was working perfect, no problems and I was already over 5,000 steps for the day.
After upping the app I decided to go for a walk, a walk which I normally do and would give me around 4,000-5,000 steps... when I returned I noticed that I only gained like 20-30 steps. Obviously seeing my fitbit stopped counting my steps appropriatly I decided to restart my fitbit by plugging it into my PC and holding the button down for 10 secs when the version comes up and whatever thinking that this would fix whatever was wrong with my fitbit. I also restarted my phone in case that was the problem, and even went futher then that and turned on and off the bluetooth on the phone as well.
Currently my fitbit app on my phone cannot find my fitbit HR and my step tracking on my fitbit plus the miles/km tracking both don't work.
Please help... my fitbit is only like 3-4 months old and there is no way it should be acting up this way with the way I take care of it.
Thanks for any suggestions, I already sent an email to fitbit hoping for their help as well.
EDIT: Fitbit got back to me with a bunch of steps, all which I did, and now that I unpaired my device from my phone, my iphone no longer can find the HR. It wasn't syncing anyways as I believe sometime today my phone stopped finding the HR for some reason, guessing because of the HR acting all weird for no reason.

Hi there @grifftron, good to see you around and I'm sorry your tracker is not counting steps after the update. Certainly this is a unexpected behavior since the app should not interfere with the way your tracker operates.
Before I start giving you suggestions or ideas to fix this, since you mentioned about contacting support I wonder how it goes, were you able to obtain a solution from our guys?
Keep me updated, I'll be around if you have more questions.
