They must be having technical difficulties because I tried everything too.  I even deleted the ap and downloaded it again and it still doesn't work.  HOpefully they get this worked out otherwise I'm going to call them.

Hello @Kmhannah@jackie2017@Jeanettewoolly@DianeRicc@Fairchild and @gherb05, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you all on board! Smiley Happy

If your trackers are not syncing with your accounts, I would like to suggest checking @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips and recommendations that have been very helpful for many members of the Community facing the same issues.

In case after trying those steps your trackers are still not syncing, I'd recommend setting up your trackers as new devices in your accounts to reset the connection between tracker and phone. Don't worry, the information stored in your accounts won't get deleted:

To set up a tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Did all that now I have no tracking of anything I've done in the past since it deleted the original flex.

-To date ive forced shut app

-Hard reset iPhone

-deleted app and reinstalled

-plugged flex into charger and

pressed reset.

-had no problems prior to latest update so my guess it's an update issue

I have also deleted, reloaded and nothing. Mine quit partway thru Sun. Mar. 19. Can't think of anything else. Seems all went south after latest update. Hmmmm

Hello @Postie8, it's great to have you on board, welcome! I hope you're having a nice day @Fairchild and @Kmhannah, thanks for taking the time to reply! Smiley Happy

@Postie8 and @Fairchild, having tried @HelenaFitbit's tips and recommendations, I would like to suggest checking the Fitbit app on your phone and tap on the Account tab. Please verify that your tracker is listed under your name. If it's not, that might be the reason your trackers are not syncing.

Please restart your trackers once again and leave them plugged in and charging, then try to set them up as new devices in your accounts once again:

To set up a tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I recommend trying this process at least 2 times making sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere. Give it a shot and let me know the outcome.

@Kmhannah, thank you for your patience with this situation so far, please check your inbox for further instructions about how to proceed at this point.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, feel free to reply.

Tried all that, currently my flex doesn't exist because I deleted it and tried to set up new. Every time it asks is the device charged. Today I tried to use the dongle to sync with my Mac mini when that didn't work I used windows based computer and tried again to set up new device but it still can't find it. I was hoping maybe it was just an Apple based problem. I even had my son try to download the app on his phone I have iPhone 6 he has iPhone 7, nothing is working.

(my flex is fully charged)

On a good note my flex is tracking my steps still so if I can ever sync it I might have data.

Turned off iPhone Bluetooth.  Left it on IPad.  shutdown and restarted Fitbit surge.  Reconnected to the iPad via Bluetooth.  Still not syncing steps with my fitness pal. Tried same process but restored to iPhone.  Still not syncing steps.  Very frustrated.

Mine is syncing but it doesn't sync all at once. It always syncs my steps but for my sleep for example, I have to sync 3-4 times before it shows me that. Same with the exercises and other things.

It all started after the update.

Hello @Grampi1 and @Postie8, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! It's nice to see you around too @AbollekeSmiley Happy

@Grampi1, thanks for letting me know about this situation. Our team is aware of it and it seems the issue has also been acknowledged by MyFinessPal as well. Please keep an eye on this thread where we will update once we have more information about this issue.

@Abolleke, if the information is not showing correctly after you sync your tracker, please sync your tracker once and check your online Dashboard. If your steps, exercises and other data is showing correctly there, it's possible the app is not updating correctly, which is why I'd like to suggest the following:

  • Force-close the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app.
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

@Postie8, could you please let me know exactly what kind of trouble are you experiencing with the Fitbit app? That will be very helpful for me to investigate this further.

I hope this can be helpful for all, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

Did an update awhile ago.  Ever since then I can not get the iPhone app to download /sync anything off my Charge Fitbit.  I have deleted and reloaded the app 3 times and still does not want to sync my Charge data.  Tells me to turn on Bluetooth in settings. I do that and it still won't turn on the Bluetooth.  Had no problems up til I did the update. Then it all went to hell.  Can only sync data on my iPad mini initially then the info shows in iPhone.  Is this an App problem or iPhone problem?  I've basically given up and am not impressed either way.
