Fit bit will not pair with my iPhone the only way I've been able to get it to sync is to hard start the Fitbit three or four times a day

Hello @Volcano1, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If your tracker is not syncing and you have already restarted your tracker and phone, my best recommendation would be setting up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your tracker and your phone. Don't worry, this wont' delete any of the information previously stored in your account.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  4. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  5. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Still not finding the Fitbit after following instructions.   Used for a year and now won't synchronize for 5 days.    It's like the Fitbit Bluetooth is not there. Are there issues with the blue tooth failing?  Phone has spent several minutes searching.    Holding the Fitbit button keeps starting the activity timer,

Hello @Mphone, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.

Which tracker are you currently using? Have you restarted it before trying to set it up as a new device? It's always possible the tracker start the chronometer when you press the button for 3 seconds when you're trying to set it up, when this happens, please let go of the button, then press it for 3 seconds again, keep doing this until the code show up, which might take 4 to 5 times.

Additionally, please make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the set up process and that your phone has a strong WiFi signal.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome. Smiley Wink
