Hello @Duncanbradley, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I sincerely apologize for this situation and I would like to gather some information from you so I can assist you further with this issue:

  1. Which Fitbit device are you currently using?
  2. Which iPhone model are you currently using?
  3. Which OS version is running on your phone?
  4. Which app version is installed on your phone?
  5. A list of the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.

This will be very helpful for me to determine what we should do next. Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

I have a Fitbit blaze . I have a iPhone 6s. Is version is 12.0 not sure what you mean by app version installed on my phone.

I tried everything that Fitbit said to try. I removed the blaze app from my phone and re-installed several times, shut of notifications and turned back on but to no avail. The only thing that shows on my Fitbit if someone calls me it will show for a second then that’s it

UPDATE:

No I pushed the wrong button, it is not working yet

UPDATE 2:

Still not working, not receiving any notifications

UPDATE 3:

I tried everything. I have a blaze FITbit. It is linked to my iPhone 6s. Iam running a iOS 12.0 . Tried everything but still not receiving notifications of emails through Hotmail or gmail or Facebook

Hello @Duncanbradley, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply with more details about your issue and with the information requested. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have already removed the Blaze from your account and tried to set it up again. At this time, I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications in your Blaze through the Fitbit app following these steps:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Then, go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Blaze > Notifications > App Notificiations, in here you will be able to see a list of the apps that can send Notifications to your Blaze. Enable the ones you'd like to receive. Please keep in mind that in order for the apps to appear on this list your phone will need to receive 1 push Notification from each app before.

Finally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and check that the following is enabled:

  • Allow Notifications
  • Show on Lock Screen
  • Show in History

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I tried everything that you said to try . Iam getting notifications from
Fitbit about sometimes. The iOS version iam using is 12.0 It is a new
update. I see some people are having trouble with this version. Maybe that
has something to do with not receiving notifications?

UPDATE:

Still not receiving notifications the way I did with the iOS version 12.0 before with the other iOS version that was on my other iPhone

I am having the same issue. I have also tried all the above. The only difference is I have the Iphone 7plus. I think it has something to do with the iso 12 update. I didn't have this issue with previous versions.

I appreciate you have voiced your concern about not getting Notifications on your Fitbit devices after updating to iOS12. At this moment, as some of the settings have changed with the release of the new OS, I would like to suggest you to go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the Settings are same as the ones on the following image:

@LittleLittle, additionally, please follow the troubleshooting steps listed on my previous post. If everything is as shown in the picture, disable everything, restart your phone and enable everything back. I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.
