Flex 2 text notifications

I have not been able to receive text notifications since the update to IOS 13 and there after.  I have the current version of IOS, current version of the Fitbit app, tried all the troubleshooting tips, and nothing has worked.  I am receiving phone call notifications without any issue.  The only thing I haven’t tried is to forget my flex in the fitbit app and start fresh.

any suggestions??

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Angiem34

I understand not getting all your notifications can be very frustrating. You stated you have tried everything but to forget the flex and start fresh. I have seen this method work for some individuals. I think it’s worth a shot if your interested. Here’s how I would go about it:

Go to your Bluetooth and remove your Fitbit Tracker and tap “Forget this Device”

From Fitbit App tap profile picture, then scroll down and tap your Fitbit Name, then scroll down tap “remove device”

Now log out of the Fitbit App, then force shut the App by swiping the app upward

Now turn off your Bluetooth and your internet connection on your iOS device

Now turn off your iOS device completely, wait 1-2 mins then restart your iOS device

Turn your Bluetooth back on and reconnect to your internet

Log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password

Now tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap “Set up a Device”

Chose your Fitbit Tracker type from the list and just follow the instructions carefully

Go to your Bluetooth settings and tap the small “ i “ to the right of your Fitbit Tracker name and make sure “Shared Notifications” are enabled

Now go back to your Fitbit App, tap profile picture, scroll down and tap your Fitbit Device name, now scroll down and tap “notifications” and ensure all the notifications you want are enabled.

Tap “Today” at the bottom of your screen to return to the main page of the Fitbit App

Sync your Fitbit Device

**now try sending yourself a text and have a friend call you to see if your notifications are now working

😃 Keep me posted on how it goes. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you to have success. Let me know.

I have tried the steps and it doesn’t seem to have changed anything. All
of the toggles are turned on for notifications, but still no text
notifications.

Hello again @Angiem34

I’m sorry these steps didn’t resolve the issue. I would suggest viewing this thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/m-p/39... Pay special attention to page on of that thread and perform all the steps carefully.  If any new information or updates become available they will certainly be posted there. I’m sorry I was unable to assist you.
