I am venting...I upgraded at greater expense to be able to at least receive texts without having to pull out my phone. This lack of compatibility means I need to chuck this platform after  5 yrs in Fitbit and just get an Apple Watch. Same larger than desired presence on my wrist where I CAN receive texts...even *gasp* phone calls without a problem. Very disappointed and feel a bit misled by the claims on your web site of features available.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @meg1961

I understand your venting and frustrated that you have been unable to get your notifications to operate properly. It’s understandable. I wish I had the correct answer and can make promises that I can get your notifications up and running but I just can’t do that. I can only assume that you have viewed and attempted all the steps that are posted here to help get your notifications: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...

I have seen these steps help some users. If your interested in trying here they are:

Go to your Bluetooth and remove your Fitbit Tracker and tap “Forget this Device”

From Fitbit App tap profile picture, then scroll down and tap your Fitbit Name, then scroll down tap “remove device”

Now log out of the Fitbit App, then force shut the App by swiping the app upward

Now turn off your Bluetooth and your internet connection on your iOS device

Now turn off your iOS device completely, wait 1-2 mins then restart your iOS device

Turn your Bluetooth back on and reconnect to your internet

Log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password

Now tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap “Set up a Device”

Chose your Fitbit Tracker type from the list and just follow the instructions carefully

Go to your Bluetooth settings and tap the small “ i “ to the right of your Fitbit Tracker name and make sure “Shared Notifications” are enabled

Now go back to your Fitbit App, tap profile picture, scroll down and tap your Fitbit Device name, now scroll down and tap “notifications” and ensure all the notifications you want are enabled.

Tap “Today” at the bottom of your screen to return to the main page of the Fitbit App

Sync your Fitbit Device

**now try sending yourself a text and have a friend call you to see if your notifications are now working

😃 Hopefully this will work for you. If not I apologize but I do understand your decision to stay with Fitbit or not is a personal choice. I can respect that.

Thank you....I will try the old fashioned hardcore uninstall/reinstall tonight. Thanks for your patient and gentle ( but thorough )response when I was clearly not in that headspace myself.
