Flex Setup

I just got a Fitbit Flex. When I try to set it up on my phone, it never finds the tracker. I have tried resetting my phone and the tracker itself. Also, when I double tap, only one light to the far left appears. I charged it over night to make sure it had more than 60%. It still will not setup on my phone.

Hello @cam_elle and welcome aboard to our community. First thing to address here is to make sure your tracker is charging properly. So I suggest to review this article: My tracker's battery isn't charging. Make sure to try the steps to restart your tracker too.

 

Once you are sure the battery is not the issue please try the following troubleshooting steps: I'm having trouble setting up my tracker.

I'm having the same problem with my husband's Flex. We can't get his iPhone 5 or his Mac to find it. It is fully charged and has been reset a number of times. All the troubleshooting advice has been followed - The iPhone has been turned off and on again, Bluetooth has been disconnected and reconnected, and we have logged in and out of the Fitbit app numerous times. Still nothing. I even tried adding it to my Fitbit account (I have a One), but had no luck.

I've emailed customer support, but thoug I'd also ask in here to see if anyone has any other suggestions, before I take matters into my own hands using a large hammer.

I got a new phone iPhone 6s Plus and my flex would not connect to it so I deleted it and tried to set it up again and it will not let me...keeps searching! I am beyond frustrated! I've reset my flex, restarted my phone and turned off and back on my Bluetooth and it will still not setup. Any help would be much appreciated
