Food Tracking on app

I like to use the food logging portion of the app, and I like the data it supplies, but I'm searching for additional information. Such as, when I log a food, I would like to see it logged into the appropriate food groups so I can see how much of each food group I'm eating. For example, if I logged "1 small slice pepperoni pizza," I'd like the app to show me which food groups that falls into and how much of each serving (such as 1 serving of grains, 1/4 serving of dairy, etc.)

Is there a feature, or going to be a feature like this? Or can anyone recommend a compatible app that can be used with Fitbit that does this?

Thanks!

I remember stumbling over something that sounds close to what you're describing in Feature Suggestions a while back. You should check it out and search for 'food group' or something similar. You can vote for suggestions you support.

I personally think it might be a difficult feature to implement because Fitbit is used worldwide and different countries/areas have somewhat different serving sizes and very different suggested dietary guidelines, but I see why this would appeal to some people.

Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
