Food log glitch

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I am having lots of difficulty recently entering food items, and seeing them disappear on the log. Sometimes, they show up later after I have re-entered them. It's real simple stuff, from your database, like banana, avocado, corn, arugula, etc. It's really frustrating since I have a daily goal of 1300 calories, and I don't like to enter something I've eaten, and then have to try and remember to check the accuracy of my log. Not cool!!!

@Figgy

Are you logging your food through the Fitbit.com Dashboard, the Android mobile app, or the iOS mobile app? Each is different and may have a different resolution to your problem. Please let us know and we'll redirect this thread to the appropriate section of the forum.

Hope this helps!

I am having the same issues with iPhone app. Food disappears, but shows up after re-entry. Also crashing frequently when entering food items. Thanks for your help!

A warm welcome to our new friends @Figgy @JulierunsRobot HappyI'd like to know if you have updated your iOS app to the latest version? Please know that if you log your food from the app some foods might disappear. Our developers are already working to get this fixed as soon as they can. While this gets fixed my best advise would be using the online Dashboard for anything related with food logging. The website shouldn't give you any issues with this.

I appreciate your help for moving this post to the correct thread @SebringDonWoman Wink

I have updated my IPhone app but I am still having some issues. Instead of the previous problems it now seems to be randomly deleting food items after they were showing as being logged.

Hey hey hey @BloodyCouture welcome to our Community! Thanks for stopping by! Man HappyPlease know our engineering team is working really hard to get this resolved quickly. As mentioned in my previous post, why don't you try logging food using your online Dashboard in the meantime? I'm sure you'll not have any issues by logging food there.

Have a nice day and thanks for your understanding! Robot Happy

My food entires are still disappearing on the iPhone app, but if I force close and then reopen the app they are threre. It only seems to be happening when I add more than one item

Same for me, except it can happen even when I enter just one item.

I'm still having the same problem in the iPhone app. It's frustrating to theorist that I've stopped using it and am tracking food I another app but it would be nice to track it all in the same app.
