I'm back in the saddle and need the accountability of food logging. Do you feel like the FitBit app is easy to use / thorough / satisfies your needs? OR do you supplement with another app? Thanks in advance!

Hi, @mh3000! I use myfitnesspal, they have a much larger database of food and I feel like the input options are a lot more versatile. They sync over to Fitbit, too.

Hello @mh3000 I hope you're doing well, it's great to see you around the Fitbit Community. It's nice to see you too @MakMak, thanks for your input about this situation.
@mh3000 I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your question with us. Please note that with Fitbit you have 2 choices. You can manually enter your food and count your calories through the app or the online Dashboard or you can start a Food Plan that will help you reach your weight goal. To know more about Food Plans, please check this article: How do I track my food with Fitbit?
Now, as @MakMak mentioned, you can also use MFP and link it to Fitbit. Note that data shared with third-party developers is governed by the developers’ privacy policies and terms of service. Fitbit cannot remove information they store once you give them permission to access your Fitbit data. You can revoke access for an app at any time by visiting your app settings.
Thanks again for posting your question, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
