GPS connect feature and running pace

Hi, I've never posted here, or even opened the discussion section, so hoping I'm posting in the right place! I have the charge HR and love it but really wish the screen that pops up when connected to the iOS app during a run would show current pace and not just average pace along with distance and time. Is there a way to see this--change settings, etc? (I'm thinking not.) so secondly, do any of the Fitbit trackers have this feature? It seems like if enough data is available to calculate average pace, distance, and time, current pace should be possible as well. Thanks!

Hello there @MegoW! Welcome to the Forums.

The Fitbit Charge HR does not have GPS nor does it connect to the Fitbit app in any way, except for notifications and syncing. Because of this, I'm not entirely sure of what display is it that you are referring to. Could it be the exercise mode display that shows when you hold down the button for a couple of seconds? If so, it would only show the following:

  • Average heart rate
  • Calories burned
  • Steps taken
  • Distance covered
  • Floors climbed

As for the pace, you can check the avarage pace by changing the activity's name from Workout to Walk, Run or Hike once the tracker has been synced to your account.

I hope this clarifies the situation. If it does not, please provide me with more details as to what screen you're referring to so that I can better understand.
