Hey friends. I'm getting spam in the FitBit app now. When I open the app, it notifies me of a valentine's day sale.
Every. Time.
How do I turn this "feature" off? It feels to me like spam, except it's in a vertical app that I have no control over. I get that FitBit want me to buy more stuff, but spamming me every time I open the app is a sure fire way to antagonize me.

I’m getting it too, if it continues I’m going to return the Fitbit to Amazon as broken and go a different route.

Thanks for letting me know it's not just me 🙂 It sounds like their marketing team may have decided that treating customers like ATMs was a good route?

Well i guess you are bombarded with unnecessary ads and offer. I recommend you download freedom app. Freedom app allows you to stops all the ads inside an app and also makes it possible to do in-app purchases for free

Hello @SunsetRunner, @Onamission2lose and @Gando67, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention, I understand your concern about how invasive the ads can be. Please note that the Fitbit app has not displayed apps in a long time, and it's odd that a Valentine's Day sale is showing up in August.
Tell me, when did you start receiving this ad? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently? Would it be possible for you to reply to me with a screenshot of the ad you're seeing? This will be very helpful for me to check this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting to hear from you!
