Hello @Gavynq72, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new faces around. Smiley Happy

Are you getting this error message when trying to set up, sync or update your Fitbit Ionic? Have you restarted your tracker by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen and restarted your phone? If so, I would like to suggest  you the following:

  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the process.
  • Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
  • Restart your Ionic again, only this time plug it in afterwards and make sure it's charging.
  • Open the Fitbit app and start the setup, sync or firmware update process.

If you're getting the error message again, force-close the app by double tapping the home button on your phone, then swipe up the app, turn off WiFi and Bluetooth from your phone Settings for 15 seconds, then turn them back on and try again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
